Motivational Monday
"True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar; it comes to see that an edifice which produces beggars needs restructuring" -Martin Luther King, Jr.
As social entrepreneurs, recognizing the need for social change is the first step toward restructuring any edifice. Before we can change the world, we must identify the specific issues which call for action, and develop a plan to create an effective, lasting impression.
The digital divide is a prevalent issue that affects individuals, communities, businesses, and organizations worldwide. So why not bridge the divide by donating technology to those in need? Well, because digital skills and literacies are just as crucial as access is to yielding individual prosperity and upward mobility in today's technological era.
If you wish to create change, imagine the steps you can take to make that mission into a reality. The more we create, build, and develop, the stronger our efforts become.
